I've had the joy's of using the "big"  ones , Cubase, ableton, Reason, Logic, Fl. And its all about one which you can use , out of all them its a close one between Cubase and Ableton, I made the switch from cubase to ableton this year and i love it, Its so simple yet effective.  Like i said though depends on yourself at the end of the day they can only do what u tell it to do, Its based on your ability!

its a matter of peoples opinion, basically whatever works best for you is the best. i switch between FL and reaper to make tracks, each have their own strengths

i switch between fl studio and studio one reason being that there fairly similar except studio one handles 64 bit way better,  (just seems to run a lot smoother and i can really take advantage of my 32 gigs of ram )and has a stupid ally fast bounce to audio and freeze track option.

Aslo studio one also takes advantage off my solid state drives aswell.

Main reason ive stuck with keeping fruity loops is harmour my god thats simply the best vst around at the moment i fucking love it
